Chiarabini and Lepri in Poland for the UEFA Grassroots Conference 2024

The 14th UEFA Grassroots Conference was held from 8 to 10 April in Sopot, Poland, a triennial event that brings together the Heads of Grassroots from the 55 UEFA member associations to review the development of Grassroots activity and its future outlook. Representing San Marino were Carlo Chiarabini (Grassroots Manager) and Fabio Lepri (Disability Football Manager). The three-day conference was packed with in-depth sessions on priority topics on which the associations will be called upon to work in the coming years, in order to ensure the widest possible promotion of football participation at every level. All associations were also recognised for achieving the objective set out in the Grassroots Charter, namely the drafting of a four-year development plan divided into six distinct areas. Finally, several new features were presented regarding the reorganisation of UEFA’s Technical Development sector, which will be shared with the individual associations over the coming months.
