Coach education: 15 new UEFA Goalkeeper B coach graduates
The UEFA Goalkeeper B course exams have been completed, bringing to a close a long and stimulating journey that has involved 15 participants since last September. The final sessions took place over two days: the first evening was devoted to written and oral exams in the various subjects of methodology, technique and tactics, psychology, Laws of the Game and fitness training. The second day was dedicated instead to the individual presentation and discussion of practical work prepared on the pitch in the preceding weeks.
On the evening of Tuesday 30 January the certificate award ceremony was held, attended by Federal Councillor Luca Albani, who expressed his pride in the achievement reached by the course participants. The Head of the Coach Education Department Carlo Chiarabini was also very pleased: "An important step for our Federation, which in recent years has made a significant leap forward, enhancing our Coach Education structure with this new licence, making it increasingly modern and aligned with the times and with UEFA requirements. Thanks also go to the FIGC and to the instructor Alessandro Danti, who has shown outstanding competence and professionalism".
Below is the list of participants who obtained the licence: Claudio Bertoni, Thomas Canarecci, Mirca De Angelis, Michele Del Mastro, Stefano Diana, Danilo Forcellini, Federico Gasperoni, Stefano Muccioli, Luca Pais, Daniele Pirani, Alois Poggioli, Diego Pratelli, Marcello Teodorani, Pier Marino Venerucci, Andrea Venturoli.
We would like to extend our best wishes to all the new UEFA Goalkeeper B goalkeeper coaches, who will now be able to take the experience of this excellent course onto the pitch and put it to good use in their respective sporting careers.
