Coach education: last Tuesday a meeting with ASCA AROUND coaches

On the afternoon of Tuesday 11 October, a group of fourteen coaches from Savignano sul Rubicone and belonging to the sports club "ASCA AROUND" visited the Football House of the Coaching and Education Department for a continuing professional development session. The group of coaches attended the Federal Training Camp for the Under-12 Category, led by the CEF Coach-Educators at the Montegiardino facility. They then moved on to Falciano, where a training session for the Under-8 teams of the Serravalle Football Academy grassroots hub was taking place. After the on‑pitch experience, the day continued at FSGC headquarters: in the conference room of the Football House a coach education session was held, with a presentation by Mattia Rizzo (CEF Project). The day was coordinated by Fabio Lepri in synergy with Christian Brigliadori, Technical Director of Around Sport and FSGC collaborator for the "Football Is Inclusion" project. The meeting was very positively received by both parties, thanks to the many pedagogical insights that emerged from the exchange on practical activities and theoretical content. In particular, in a warm letter sent by the ASCA Around coaches, they highlight their choice of the San Marino coach education environment – among other reasons – for the "'vision' that breathes sensitivity. At last we can 'see' in some of the coaches, in their approach and in the 'heart' of their objectives, a spark of innovation based on respect for the unique authenticity of every individual who chooses to do sport, and football in particular. And this, for us, is wonderful, enlightening and above all cutting‑edge!".
