Coaching: one more week to apply for the UEFA Goalkeeper B course
The deadline to submit applications for admission to the 2025 “UEFA Goalkeeper B” Course, organised by the Technical Department and the Education Department (FSGC) – in collaboration with ASAC and the Technical Department in Coverciano (FIGC), is set for 8 September 2025. The programme is aimed at training the professional figure of the Goalkeeping Coach, through dedicated preparation in line with the guidelines set out in the Coaching Convention (ed. 2025).
Applications will be assessed by a Technical Committee appointed by the FSGC and those admitted to the course will be announced via an Official Communication from the Technical Department, to be published within four days from the deadline of the call for applications (8 September 2025). It is important to note that successful candidates must confirm their participation no later than Tuesday 16 September (1:00 p.m.), by informing the FSGC in the manner described in the call for applications.
The course will combine both theoretical and practical elements, offering participants at least 84 hours of training. The opening session of the UEFA Goalkeeper B course is scheduled for 26 September, and the programme will conclude in January 2026. Attendance is compulsory for all participants wishing to obtain the UEFA Goalkeeper B coaching licence, which is valid for work in both youth and senior football. The licence is internationally recognised by UEFA member associations – bearing in mind that each federation independently regulates the licensing system required to coach the various categories.
