Coaching: UEFA C Futsal diplomas awarded to ten new coaches

Ten new coaches have received their UEFA C Futsal diploma, at the end of the course organised by the Federazione Sammarinese Giuoco Calcio in the first half of 2026. This training pathway is an important innovation on the European scene and confirms the FSGC’s commitment to developing and qualifying futsal coaching staff. The course, with a total duration of 72 hours, was structured into four training modules held from January to May.

The Head of the Coach Education Department, Carlo Chiarabini, expressed his satisfaction, highlighting the quality of the work carried out and the collaboration with UEFA: “It has been a long process which, together with UEFA, has allowed us to develop this pilot course, the first of its kind in Europe, which received final approval from the UEFA Panel a few weeks ago. I would like to thank my fellow instructor and Head Coach of the San Marino National Futsal Team, Roberto Osimani, for his valuable contribution, as well as the Federal officials who supported this initiative. We are considering the possibility of offering a second edition in the near future. The UEFA C Futsal licence is in fact a prerequisite for access to the next stage of education, the UEFA B Futsal course, planned for the next two-year cycle.”

The awarding of the diplomas therefore marks a new milestone for technical education in Sammarinese futsal, laying the foundations for further opportunities for coaches to grow and specialise.
