Coppa Titano 2026-2027: Here We Go!

With the Campionato Sammarinese now underway, everything is set for the second competition on the Titan to kick off. The 2026-27 edition will officially get underway tomorrow with the first Round of 16 fixtures, which will continue on Wednesday evening. There will be seven ties played over these two days; 14 teams involved in this opening round of the cup, which will be played over two legs. The winners on aggregate will join La Fiorita, champions of the last edition and already qualified for the quarter-finals.

The new Coppa Titano season opens with a first round that immediately pits against each other sides in very different form: some with a perfect record in the league, others looking to react and relaunch their season through the cup.

To open the midweek programme tomorrow will be San Giovanni and Cosmos, kicking off at 20:45 at the Stadio di Montecchio. The teams coached by Matteo Antonioli and Paolo Rossi are the first to go in search of a reaction after a league start below expectations. At the same time, the other three ties of the evening will also be played, including Domagnano-Faetano at the Stadio di Acquaviva, a match that sets up a clash between the Giallorossi – no longer a surprise package after the last two seasons and currently joint-top – and Faetano, who so far have the second-worst defence of this campaign.

The spotlight will also be on the derby of the Castello di Fiorentino between Fiorentino and Tre Fiori, scheduled at the “Federico Crescentin” stadium. The winners of the Supercoppa Sammarinese, who also boast the best attacking start to the season with nine goals scored, will come up against a backline as solid as Fiorentino’s. Rounding off the evening’s programme is the tie between Tre Penne, another unbeaten force in our league, and Juvenes Dogana at the “Ezio Conti” stadium.

On Wednesday the remaining three matches will take centre stage, all also kicking off at 20:45: Pennarossa-Cailungo at the Stadio di Acquaviva, with both sides seeking redemption after starting without any points; a very different situation in the match at the Stadio di Dogana between Libertas and Folgore. The game, broadcast on FIFA+, will showcase two teams still unbeaten at the start of the season and eager to extend their run in the cup as well. The programme closes with Murata versus Virtus at the Stadio di Montecchio, a fiery encounter between Paolo Tarini’s side, who have begun with plenty of goals scored but just as many conceded, and Oscar Muratori’s team, who arrive in the cup with four league points to their name, thanks above all to having conceded 0 goals. The countdown is over: the 26/27 Coppa Titano is ready to begin.
