Coppa Titano and BKN301 Championship: finals, play-offs and the decider

Virtus have reached their second consecutive Coppa Titano BKN301 final and will attempt to defend the trophy in the last match of the San Marino football season against La Fiorita – yet another showdown with silverware at stake, as the two sides are also leading protagonists in the title race. The date is set for Saturday 25 May at the San Marino Stadium, kick-off at 20:45, when the Neroverdi will be chasing a second straight and overall triumph, while La Fiorita will be aiming to add a seventh Coppa Titano to their collection. The Coppa Titano BKN301 final, as well as the entire play-off campaign that will award a place in the next UEFA Conference League, will be broadcast live and free via streaming on TITANI.TV. Turning to the Campionato Sammarinese BKN301, next Saturday could finally break the deadlock between Virtus and La Fiorita, triggering title celebrations for one or the other. The conditional is a must, on the eve of the final round of the regular season: a level finish, in fact, would require a play-off to assign the national crown. The date has already been confirmed, should an additional match be needed: the fixture would be played on Thursday 25 April at the San Marino Stadium, kick-off at 20:45 and live on TITANI.TV. What is certain is that at the end of Matchday 30 of the Campionato Sammarinese BKN301, the four teams advancing from the Preliminary Play-off Round will be known, under a single-leg format involving the sides finishing between eighth and eleventh place. These matches will be played on Wednesday 24 April at the Acquaviva and Montecchio grounds from 20:45, with the higher-ranked team going through in the event of a draw at the end of normal time. At that point the pairings in the main bracket will be confirmed, with the higher-ranked of the two sides progressing from the preliminary play-offs (based on the regular-season standings) going on to meet the team finishing third, while the other will face the runners-up in the Campionato Sammarinese BKN301. The teams finishing fourth and fifth in the regular season will already know they are set to meet, respectively, the sides placed seventh and sixth. The quarter-finals and semi-finals will be played over two legs, with no possibility of extra time or penalties. If the aggregate score is level at the end of normal time in the second leg, the team with the higher placing at the end of the regular season will advance. The quarter-finals will be played between 27 April and 1 May. In the quarter-final bracket, four seeded teams are designated – ensuring that the second- and third-placed sides from the regular season can only meet in a potential play-off final. The first legs of the semi-finals will be played on Saturday 4 May, with the return fixtures scheduled one week later. The two finals will instead be staged in mid-May. The match that will determine the winners of the Campionato Sammarinese BKN301 play-offs, and with it a berth in the 2023-24 UEFA Conference League, is scheduled for Saturday 18 May at the San Marino Stadium, kick-off at 20:45. The previous evening, at the same time but at the Acquaviva Stadium, it will be the turn of the teams defeated over the two-legged semi-finals.
