Coppa Titano: Round of 16 kicks off on 23-24 September

In just under a month, the fourteen teams lining up at the start of the 2025-26 Coppa Titano will take to the pitch for the first legs of the Round of 16. Virtus are exempt from this stage, going directly into the next round as holders of the trophy; it is a different story for the San Marino Academy U22, who – as is well known – only take part in the Campionato Sammarinese.

Three ties are scheduled for Tuesday 23 September, while the round will be completed the following evening with the remaining four match-ups. The return legs will be played in midweek on 21-22 October, when – should the aggregate score be level after 180 minutes – qualification for the quarter-finals will be decided by extra time and, if required, a penalty shoot-out. There will be no seeding privileges, other than the favourable placement at the time of the draw reserved for the top three teams in the ranking and the holders.

Lastly, there are updates also regarding the 2025-26 Campionato Sammarinese fixture list, with two changes compared to the original schedule. Folgore-Faetano, valid for matchday three, will be played at the Montecchio Stadium with kick-off at 18:30. Cailungo-Juvenes-Dogana, meanwhile, has been moved to Saturday 27 September at the Acquaviva Stadium. This latter match, part of the fourth round of the regular season, will kick off at 18:30.
