Cordani appointed in Murcia for the two friendlies between New Zealand and Japan
The international assistant referee representing San Marino, Laura Cordani, has been appointed for the double friendly encounter between the women’s national teams of New Zealand and Japan. Both sides, preparing for the Olympic tournament in Paris, have scheduled two matches at the Nueva Condomina in Murcia. Curiously, a nearby venue – the Pinatar Arena – hosted San Marino’s first friendly against a representative from another continent (Cape Verde, in March 2022).
The first assignment took place on 31 May, with Cordani acting as second assistant to Jason Barcelo – who was also assisted by Michael Macias. In this afternoon’s match, the second friendly in the space of a few days between New Zealand and Japan, Cordani served as first assistant within the confirmed refereeing team.
