D’Adamo in Moldova for the final stage of the U19 Futsal EURO
The final stage of the 2025 Under-19 Futsal EURO is underway, featuring the eight best national teams on the continent, all taking to the court at Chișinău Arena. Also present in the Moldovan capital – which gives its name to the venue – is Daniele D’Adamo: the San Marino international futsal referee has in fact been appointed to the refereeing team in charge of the matches that will crown the new European champions on Sunday 5 October.
D’Adamo was appointed as second referee for last Sunday’s Slovenia–Czechia fixture (2-1), pairing up with Romanian official Hanceariuc, while yesterday he served as fourth official in the clash between Italy and Moldova (7-2 in favour of the Azzurrini). The referee representing ASA will also be on duty tomorrow in the third and final matchday of the Group Stage: at 13:00 he will act as third referee in Turkey–Czechia (both already out of the running for the semi‑finals, secured by Spain and Slovenia), before taking charge at 18:00 as first referee for Moldova–Portugal. The top-versus-bottom clash in Group A will have no tangible impact for either the hosts or the Lusitanians, while the Italian controlled-bounce futsal movement will be closely following Ukraine–Italy – a match in which the Azzurrini will need a win to qualify for the continental semi‑finals.
