Debris on the Acquaviva pitch: Cosmos-La Fiorita to be played in Montecchio

The effects of the heavy rainfall that has also affected San Marino’s territory in recent hours make it impossible to fully adhere to the original schedule for the BKN301 Campionato Sammarinese play-off finals. Like Libertas-Virtus this evening (live on TITANI.TV from 20:45), the final that will decide second place between Cosmos and La Fiorita will also be played in Montecchio. Despite repeated attempts to restore suitable conditions for the regular staging of the match at the Acquaviva Stadium, there is still far too much debris and a build-up of mud on the venue’s artificial surface, caused by the overflowing of the ditches further uphill. The kick-off time remains unchanged at 20:45, with live coverage and Italian commentary on TITANI.TV. Please note that, following an inspection carried out yesterday morning together with the San Marino Civil Protection Service, the only permitted access to reach the Montecchio stand will be via the staircase descending from Viale Campo dei Giudei. All other access points, either due to resurfacing works on the external paving of the Casa del Calcio or due to landslide risk, will be closed to the public.
