Education: registrations open for the Grassroots Inclusive Football – Disability Football course

The Education Department of the San Marino Football Federation announces the launch of a new course aimed at training qualified educators who are carrying out, or intend to carry out, inclusive football activities involving players with disabilities within the Football Schools of clubs affiliated to the FSGC, as well as in other youth and senior contexts in the Grassroots game.

The course, which will start on 12 October and conclude on 7 November 2026, is organised by the Technical Department and the Education Department of the FSGC and will consist of eight modules combining on-field and classroom activities, for a total duration of twenty-four (24) hours. The course will take place in the Conference Room of the Casa del Calcio (c/o FSGC, strada di Montecchio 17 – 47890, San Marino) and/or in the Press Room of the San Marino Stadium (via Rancaglia, SNC – 47899, Serravalle). It should be noted that the course does not in itself confer an official technical qualification of the Federation, but credits may be awarded for admission to future UEFA B-level and higher coaching courses, or to any similar courses organised by the Technical Department.

Applications for registration must be submitted by e-mail to the Federal Secretariat ([email protected]) by 25 September 2026, in accordance with the procedures set out in Articles 2 and 3 of the call for applications. The course will be open to the first sixteen (16) candidates in the ranking. The FSGC Technical Department reserves the right, in addition to the set maximum number, to include staff working within its own structure or at San Marino Academy, in line with specific training needs. The participation fee is €150.00.

A specially appointed Commission will assign individual scores based on candidates’ qualifications and will draw up a ranking list. Further details regarding the grounds for exclusion from the course and the criteria used to determine the ranking can be found in Articles 4 and 5 of the call for applications.

The Federal Secretariat will publish the list of admitted participants via an Official Communication on the FSGC website by Wednesday 30 September 2026, and will also notify those concerned by e-mail. Candidates admitted to the course must confirm their participation by Monday 5 October at 18:30, by sending an e-mail to the Federal Secretariat specifying the information indicated in Article 7 of the call for applications.

Further information is available in the full text of the call for applications, which can be found in the “Documenti” section of the website fsgc.sm, or by contacting the Federal Secretariat (0549-990515 / [email protected]) and/or the Head of the Education Department, Carlo Chiarabini ([email protected]).
