Fan Village and Business Team among the side events for San Marino-Liechtenstein

The topics of Branding and Reputation Management – closely linked to corporate image, in whose perception it plays a decisive role – were at the heart of the latest FSGC Business Team meeting, held on 5 September in the immediate pre‑match build-up to San Marino-Liechtenstein in the press room of the San Marino Stadium. Many professionals took part in the event, offering their insights to FSGC partners – as well as to new and potential supporters of the San Marino Football Federation. Exceptionally, the participants also included President Tura and Secretary General Zafferani. The standard of the speakers was outstanding, among them Luca Poma – university lecturer and former consultant to top-tier companies such as Ferrero. A highly experienced and skilled Reputation Manager, he has also worked with the Ministries of Defence and Foreign Affairs. Equally impressive was the professional profile of Luca Corsolini, a journalist and communicator of proven quality and experience, with a background at SKY Italia and an academic career as a university lecturer. The audience gathered at the San Marino Stadium was also engaged by Walter Nicoletti – on this occasion in his role as business coach, in addition to being publisher of La Serenissima, a San Marino news periodical. Representing LGS SportLab, a leading Italian sports marketing and communication agency – specialising in enhancing athletes’ image and providing corporate consultancy on marketing plans and integrated communication – was Donatello Ferretti. Two main and complementary themes ran through the evening: the role of credibility and the renewed centrality of quality within corporate processes. Audience participation was strong, with more than thirty people accredited for the pre‑match event, who were highly engaged throughout the hour spent together. Extremely positive feedback for the FSGC Business Team project, which once again offered top‑level training and shared experiences through the involvement of high‑profile speakers. Demand to take part continues to grow, a clear indication of the value and appeal of a relatively young project that is now attracting interest beyond both San Marino and Italy. On the afternoon of the San Marino v Liechtenstein fixture, the FSGC also organised another Fan Village, aimed at all the supporters who packed the San Marino Stadium for this historic occasion. Despite the rain, the Fan Village did not come to a halt. Showing that passion for sport – and football in particular – overcomes every obstacle, bad weather included, the programme was partially adapted but still managed to offer a wide range of activities, all carried out with great enthusiasm. Now a regular feature for our supporters – young and old alike – the Fan Village once again proved to be the ideal place to meet up and have fun from a few hours before San Marino’s national team kick-off. Every stage fits perfectly within the FSGC’s FSR 2030 Strategy: this latest event in particular was built around the theme of "Health and Wellbeing". The strong turnout of young people, thoroughly involved in the various activities promoting a healthy lifestyle, can only be considered an excellent outcome. To cap it all, came the magnificent and historic victory for the Titani: in short, it truly was a case of "rainy day, lucky day".
