Finland at the Stadium tomorrow for the season finale

The San Marino National Team wasted no time getting back to work, with the Biancazzurri returning to the pitch tomorrow for their final match of the UEFA EURO 2024 Qualifiers. After arriving back in the Republic last night from the long trip to Kazakhstan, the squad immediately regrouped today within the familiar surroundings of the Stadium for their customary training session ahead of the match against Finland. “We’re coming back from a long away trip,” head coach of the Titani Fabrizio Costantini said in his press conference, “and we’re recharging the batteries as we wait for tomorrow’s match. Despite that, the lads have just put in an excellent performance, in which they were in it right until the end. Just as against Denmark, we managed to stand up to our opponents and score at a key moment in the game. Something is changing; the players are coming back into the dressing room with regrets because they know they can compete.” Tomorrow at the San Marino Stadium, Finland will arrive already out of the running for qualification, but Costantini is keen to keep his players on their guard: “It will be a difficult match; in Helsinki we struggled. Tomorrow, however, we will have the backing of our fans. The aim is to build on the progress shown in recent games and to go in search of a third consecutive goal, which would be historic for us. We want to finish this group in the best possible way so that we are ready and competitive next year for the Nations League.” Also speaking at the Stadium press conference was Alessandro D’Addario: “Playing at home is always special. Tomorrow we will need to stay focused, just as we have done in recent matches. Finland are a very good side and it will be important to limit them. We will always give our all, as we always have. Scoring would be something special.” Tomorrow’s clash between San Marino and Finland kicks off at 20:45 at the San Marino Stadium, with live radio streaming on Titani.tv.
