FSGC Business Team also makes its debut alongside the National Team
A few hours before kick-off of San Marino–Northern Ireland, the San Marino Football Federation officially launched the debut of a new project, called FSGC Business Team. An exclusive corporate community with the ambitious goal of building the best and most efficient possible bridge between the business world and San Marino football.
The first step was taken on 26 March. In the prestigious location of the BKN301 Lounge, located inside San Marino Outlet Experience, FSGC Business Team had its launch, marked by a forum titled "Risk Management between sport and industry". Among the distinguished guests speaking at the well-attended event were Edoardo Ceola (CEO of Private Broking and former CEO of Olimpia Milano basketball club) and Francesco Iannamorelli (Deloitte Financial Advisor). Inevitably, for a discussion focused on corporate and sporting risk, the conversation turned to the insurance dynamics that play a role in both sectors. The players’ perspective was provided by Vasco Regini, full-back of Rimini Calcio with a significant and recent Serie A career at Sampdoria, Napoli, SPAL and Parma. Risk management, in every respect, is for a professional footballer like Regini an element to be considered both on and off the pitch. A business vision less tied to the sporting environment, but clearly relevant and very topical, was offered by Gabriele Pagliarani – owner of Bagno 26 in Rimini.
Steering a lively and engaging event was the FSGC Head of Marketing and Commercial Area, Andrea Nardoni. Guests were then able to watch San Marino–Northern Ireland from the VIP Stand of the San Marino Stadium. “It was a great pleasure to launch the FSGC Business Team project with such an enjoyable and well-attended event as Thursday’s, which represents a starting point towards greater enhancement of the relationship between the San Marino Football Federation and its partners, both current and potential,” commented Nardoni. “We tackled the very topical subject of Risk Management applied to football thanks to the contributions of high-profile speakers, to whom I would like to extend my personal thanks and that of the FSGC for their willingness to speak in front of an audience of fifty guests, representing more than twenty companies and business entities. Thanks also to our main sponsor BKN301 for hosting us in the splendid BKN301 Lounge. Many similar initiatives will soon be unveiled, following this interesting preview: in the coming days – Nardoni assures – we will announce important developments in the FSGC Business Team project and outline the concrete opportunities available to companies wishing to become part of this network.”
