FSGC Business Team closes 2023 with a B2B event on corporate communication
The National Team is back, and so is the FSGC Business Team. The bespoke B2B programme created by the Football Federation for partner companies – current or prospective put the spotlight, in this latest gathering, on managing corporate communication. On the afternoon of Monday 20 November, over forty participants filled the room kindly made available by the FSGC and San Marino National Team main sponsor at the BKN301 Lounge in the San Marino Outlet Experience. Among them were also press officers from affiliated clubs, the ideal target group for the topics on the agenda.
The entire spectrum of corporate communication dynamics was explored, starting with an analysis of the role of the media which – as the very name suggests – sit exactly at the centre of the corporate information chain, drawing on the press office for the information later shared with readers. The honour and burden of commenting on the importance of communication in modern society through a news outlet such as a print newspaper – albeit now expressed through its digital products as well – fell to Walter Dovesi Nicolessi, Commercial Director of La Serenissima.
More focused on the digital and specifically sporting ecosystem, Simone Campanati presented the RBR project (Rinascita Basket Rimini), highlighting the tangible benefits that a sports club – regardless of its size – can obtain by communicating properly and effectively with its audience. Moreover, what makes RBR unique is that the spark which ignited the success of the project lies to a great extent in communication itself. Drawing on his background in directing and storytelling, combined with further professional refinement in marketing and brand positioning, he can certainly be considered one of the main architects behind the enhancement of the RBR brand.
Equally significant was the contribution from Tellem, a young and virtuous San Marino-based company specialising in communicating for others – as echoed in the very slang behind its name. Expertise, specialisation, creativity and attention to client needs are the essential pillars on which Tellem’s project is built. Among the assets of this made in San Marino company are the strategic management of social networks, copywriting and on-site and off-site SEO services. Also central are the creation of effective, robust and long-lasting brand identity & graphics solutions that allow the brands of those businesses choosing to rely on these services to achieve a solid affirmation of their image and their positioning in the market.
Highly specialised topics, yet impactful and extremely engaging for the audience in attendance, which proved very receptive and involved. All clubs affiliated to the Football Federation took part, each represented by its own communications lead, and were able to enjoy the excellent catering provided by KM Service srl. “A wonderful meeting that served as the starter to an equally wonderful match for the San Marino National Team. A Monday that will be very hard to forget,” commented Andrea Nardoni, Head of Marketing and Commercial Area at the FSGC. “We have rounded off 2023 for the FSGC Business Team in style, a year full of tailored events for the businesses that are already part of the San Marino football family and for those that might – sooner or later – decide to join it. If, over this calendar year, we can consider the test phase of the FSGC Business Team to have been passed with flying colours,” Nardoni concluded, “in 2024 we will raise the bar again, with a further upgrade of the project”.
