FSGC: Cevoli and his staff are not under discussion, the agreement with Pietracuta will be honoured as planned

The San Marino Football Federation wishes to express its full support and strongest backing for Head Coach Roberto Cevoli and his staff, who have recently decided to end their collaboration with Pietracuta. Although it may appear obvious, we feel it is important to stress that the professionalism, technical abilities and role of Roberto Cevoli and his assistants have never been called into question, and they will continue to serve in their respective positions within the technical set-up of the San Marino National Team. To all of them, we can only extend our thanks for choosing to prioritise the forthcoming international commitments over internal club dynamics.

This decision can only be rooted in internal circumstances and unforeseen aspects compared to what was expected at the start of the season which – in our view – have affected the performance of a team that, given its technical quality, would deserve a very different place in the table. Having said that, the San Marino Football Federation will honour the existing agreement with Pietracuta until the end of the current season, in the firm belief that the project aimed at bringing a large group of San Marino players together at the same club is not only positive, but should be supported and carried forward in the future.
