FSGC: Comprehensive support renewed for the Federazione Sammarinese Sport Speciali
The Football Federation and the Federazione Sammarinese Sport Speciali have renewed their agreement, which will cover the entire 2025–28 Olympic cycle. Early this afternoon, at the Casa del Calcio, Presidents Marco Tura (FSGC) and Filiberto Felici (FSSS) – in the presence of their respective General Secretaries, Luigi Zafferani and Bruno Muccioli – signed the document that will ensure all-round support for the Federazione Sammarinese Sport Speciali from the Football Federation. This is not merely a financial contribution, but the continuation of a long-standing synergy that also includes the joint organisation of high-profile events, as well as participation in several wide-ranging projects with a strong sporting – and even more so social – dimension.
"The Federazione Sammarinese Giuoco Calcio believes in what we do and in how we do it," commented Filiberto Felici, President of the FSSS. "For years we have been developing many interesting initiatives together, such as the Special Cup, which is no less important or demanding than our day-to-day sporting activities. The Federazione Sport Speciali has grown significantly in a short time and now encompasses nineteen disciplines, involving more than seventy athletes, who also benefit from a dedicated transport service. We hope that the example set by the Football Federation can serve as a model for other organisations within the San Marino community, which is the focus of our mission."
The renewal of the agreement is also praised by the President of the Football Federation, Marco Tura: "We are proud to continue supporting the activities of the Federazione Sammarinese Sport Speciali, which we greatly admire for what it manages to achieve every day in the sporting sphere and beyond. If the FSGC can do something to guarantee support and solidarity, we are more than happy to do so. From this federation there will always be complete openness towards those who manage to do things even better than we do."
