FSGC joins Football for the Goals

In recent days, the San Marino Football Federation has also joined Football for the Goals, the initiative launched in 2022 by the United Nations to raise awareness and drive progress across the world of football on issues of sustainability, equality and human rights. Every member, including UEFA, undertakes to support the achievement and implementation of policies in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (Sustainable Development Goals). These 17 goals were identified by world leaders at the Sustainable Development Summit in September 2015 and cover topics ranging from health to education, including gender equality and poverty. Football for the Goals aims to harness the power of football to bring about global change. As a member, the FSGC will have access to useful resources and content, as well as opportunities to collaborate and take part in conferences and meetings with all the stakeholders involved in the United Nations initiative.
