FSGC’s Nardoni at the World Football Summit in Madrid
Among the most prestigious and highly regarded events in the football business landscape, the World Football Summit – held last week in Madrid – connects and strengthens the global football industry through world-class events, tailored content and targeted initiatives that help shape a more sustainable and inclusive game. In the Spanish capital, a huge network was created which, over two days, brought clubs, federations and companies from all over the world directly together, all operating in the football sector. Not to mention the countless sector stakeholders, such as media and sponsors keen to understand – and ideally anticipate – the evolution and trends of the football industry.
Far from being a one-off, the World Football Summit schedules more than one annual event – with the next already planned in Riyadh before the end of the year. The San Marino Football Federation accepted the organisers’ invitation, taking part with Andrea Nardoni – Head of Marketing and Commercial. On site there was no shortage of requests for meetings, in-depth discussions and contacts from participants specifically interested in opening a communication channel with the San Marino Football Federation which – thanks to these networking events – has the chance to introduce itself also to major players in the football industry. This offers concrete opportunities for contact not only in terms of services for FSGC’s corporate and administrative network, but also on the technical and sporting side. “The World Football Summit could almost be described as the World Expo of football, and having had the opportunity to take part by invitation as the San Marino Football Federation,” Nardoni points out, “is something we should be proud of. The level of recognition we see increasing month by month is tangible proof of how San Marino football is appreciated and followed well beyond the national borders of San Marino and Italy.”
