FSGC visits the “Arcobaleno” primary school in Cailungo

The year 2026 will mark the birth of the senior women’s national team, and the FSGC’s customary visit to one of the Republic’s primary schools could not but be influenced by this important event. So much so that the shirts given this morning to the girls and boys in the first year at the “Arcobaleno” school complex in Cailungo were the very latest kits unveiled by the Football Association: those of the senior women’s national team, produced by Erreà. Naturally, however, the sense of belonging to the white and light blue colours is something that transcends the gender of players and supporters. That is why, during today’s visit, the men’s national team was also strongly represented; not only by head coach Roberto Cevoli and defender Alessandro Tosi, from whose hands the children received their shirts, but also through the type of gift presented to the first-year pupils: alongside the white kit, a voucher guaranteeing them free admission to the UEFA Nations League match between San Marino and Finland (on 26 September) and a reduced-price ticket for one accompanying adult. This is a way of bringing the national team closer to its fans – of all ages – and at the same time allowing fans to experience the national team up close, both emotionally and physically. This morning’s visit featured a large delegation from the FSGC: in addition to the aforementioned Cevoli and Tosi, there were also Michela Mariotti and Sara Giannotti (players from the senior women’s national team), Gionata Arcangeli (Women’s National Teams Coordinator), Andrea Zoppis (Supporter Liaison Officer) and finally Andrea Nardoni and Elia Michelotti, both from the Marketing Department. Even without a physical handover by members of San Marino’s national teams, all the other girls and boys in the first-year classes – across all school complexes in the Republic – will receive the same gifts that delighted the young fans in Cailungo today.
