Futsal Cup, Pennarossa are the first finalists: Oddone breaks the deadlock in the first minute of extra time

Not even the second 60 minutes of the Titano Futsal Cup semi-final are enough to break the deadlock between Pennarossa and Virtus who, just as in the first leg, finish 2-2. Extra time is therefore needed, and at the very start Oddone delivers the decisive blow that sends the Chiesanuova side into raptures and condemns their rivals from Acquaviva. As mentioned, there is no dominant side in normal time. The parquet at the Multieventi heats up between the 14th and 21st minutes: Pasqualini scores to give Virtus the lead, only for Gasperoni to level. Pasqualini strikes again to put the Neroverdi back in front shortly before the midway point of the second half, and this time it is Maiani – on target as in the first leg – who brings Pennarossa back on level terms with 7 minutes remaining before stoppage time is indicated. Extra time begins immediately with Oddone making it 3-2, and Virtus are unable to find a reply. Pennarossa into the final and Virtus eliminated. This evening the name of the second Titano Futsal Cup finalist will emerge from the clash between Murata and Juvenes-Dogana, with the Bianconeri able to manage a hefty six-goal cushion after the 7-1 victory over the Biancorossoazzurri just under a month ago. The match kicks off at 21:45 at the Acquaviva Sports Hall.
