Futsal: high-profile clashes straight away on Matchday 2

The entire second matchday of the Campionato Sammarinese di futsal will be played tomorrow evening. A fiercely contested, high-level encounter is expected between Virtus and Tre Fiori, who will face off on the Multieventi court (kick-off at 21:45): both winners on opening day, Michelotti’s Neroverdi and Pollini’s Gialloblu are looking to confirm their good form and pick up points to stay at the top. Also intriguing is the clash between Murata and Pennarossa (Acquaviva, 21:45): the Bianconeri come into it on the back of a big win over Libertas on Matchday 1 (currently the league’s best attack), while the Biancorossi beat Juvenes-Dogana 2-0, a side that impressed last season. The team from the Castello di Serravalle will have the chance to bounce back in tomorrow’s fixture (Fiorentino, 21:45), when they take on Tre Penne (who defeated Cosmos last week at the Multieventi). Folgore and Domagnano will also be looking to extend their positive runs after taking all three points in their openers: Zonzini’s Giallorossoneri face San Giovanni (Fiorentino, 20:15), while Gasperoni’s Giallorossi meet Cailungo (Acquaviva, 21:45). Cosmos and Fiorentino, meanwhile, are chasing their first points after defeats last week: Muccioli’s Gialloverdi and Galli’s Rossoblu – the reigning champions – will go head-to-head in Dogana at 21:45. The season now gets underway for La Fiorita, who had a bye on the opening matchday. Fabio Traviglia’s Gialloblu will be in action in Dogana at 20:15 against Faetano, beaten in their opener by Tre Fiori. Libertas have a bye this week.
