Futsal: Fiorentino out in front alone, Tre Fiori and Folgore refuse to let go
Fiorentino successfully completes the task of taking advantage of La Fiorita’s rest week to move clear at the top. Michelotti’s side builds its victory above all after the interval: that’s when it finds five of the six goals on the night, after Zafferani’s opener on 3 minutes. Busignani’s penalty on 37 minutes sets the tone for a rout that takes shape with two more goals from Busignani himself, plus strikes from Gasperoni and Maiani. Tre Fiori and Folgore also get the job done, remaining level in third place ahead of next week’s head‑to‑head clash. The giallorossoneri put 9 past Pennarossa, who score through Maiani when the damage has long since been done. By that stage it is already 6-0, the result of braces from Bernardi and Chezzi and goals from Koci and Pellegrini. After the break, Bernardi is on target twice more and Volpinari also joins the scoresheet. Even without goalkeeper Andreani, Tre Fiori immediately bounce back from last week’s slight slip. The 8-3 win over Tre Penne is opened by Filippo Burioni, with Benedettini replying at the other end. An own goal by Francesconi and a brace from Verri give the gialloblù a healthy lead before the turn‑around. Early in the second half Verri scores again, followed by goals from Filippo Burioni and Urbinati, who also finishes his evening with a brace. For Tre Penne, the goals that are not enough to avoid defeat are scored by Francesconi and Ercolani.
Defeat forces the San Marino Città side to drop away from the group consisting of Murata, Domagnano and Juvenes-Dogana, all winners on an unusual Tuesday night of league action. The bianconeri react after their loss to Fiorentino. Cailungo are beaten 8-0, thanks to goals from Moretti (hat-trick), Paoletti (brace), Paolo Casadei and Felici, plus an own goal from Sabatino. Juvenes-Dogana even hit double figures, cruising past hapless Faetano 12-1. The game takes a very clear direction already in the first half, which Levani’s men close at 9-0, with Cavalli scoring three times, Gatti converting a penalty, Gianni netting twice and Quaranta and Chezzi also on target. After the restart, Murato, Borasco and Gatti again complete the thrashing. In between comes Faetano’s consolation goal, scored by goalkeeper Giusti. Domagnano, like Murata, also needed a reaction after a defeat. The Wolves achieve their aim with a 7-2 victory over Cosmos, who are unable to build on their win against Pennarossa. It is in fact the Serravalle side who break the deadlock through Mauri. Domagnano’s response – and in particular that of Emmanuele Capone – is explosive: the number 13 in yellow and red scores four times in the space of ten minutes, between the 10th and 20th minute. In the second half Gasperoni’s side show no sign of slowing down. Faetanini, Menghi and Villa wrap up a win that Zafferani’s goal, arriving just seconds before the final whistle, cannot dent. Earlier Cosmos had lost Bacciocchi, sent off for a second yellow card. The defeat costs the gialloverdi their place in the table ahead of Libertas, who take the derby against San Giovanni. It finishes 3-1, with an Alan Bacciocchi hat-trick on one side and a Zanotti goal on the other for the Rossoneri’s temporary equaliser.
