Futsal, Murata score three goals in the last three minutes: 5-4 against Juvenes-Dogana

Extraordinary finale at the Multieventi, in the late fixture of Matchday 22 of the Campionato Sammarinese di futsal. Trailing 3-2 with three minutes left, Murata found a decisive strike from Beinat and a brace from Alessandro Conti to tear up their opponents’ plans. Juvenes-Dogana had scored in the first minute of added time through Lorenzo Bacciocchi – whose hat-trick was not enough to earn his side any points. Zonzini’s men had overturned Murata’s early lead, signed by Alessandro Casadei, with Bacciocchi’s first two goals – on target on 22 and 39 minutes. Two minutes later Muraro appeared to have wrapped up the win, putting Juvenes-Dogana 3-1 up. The Bianconeri, however, clung on to the contest, reacting immediately with a penalty coolly converted on 43 minutes by the ever-reliable Casadei. That set up a dramatic finale: first Beinat made it 3-3 on 57 minutes, then Alessandro Conti’s double strike on 59 and 60 minutes sealed a memorable victory for Gabriele Cellarosi’s side, who ran out 5-4 winners despite Bacciocchi’s goal deep into stoppage time – ultimately in vain. It is a hugely important win for Murata, who halt their negative run and move up to 17 points, climbing above five teams in the table and, crucially, extending their cushion over 13th place to four points. There is little time to dwell on the verdicts of Matchday 22, with the next round already looming. Twelve teams are back on court tomorrow. Juvenes-Dogana face a derby with Folgore, a real mountain to climb. Murata, meanwhile, will look to ride the momentum in a six-pointer against Libertas, who come into it off the back of a big win over Pennarossa (7-2). Chiesanuova’s Biancorossi are involved in Friday night’s late kick-off, to be played in Acquaviva from 21:15. It is a high-stakes match for San Giovanni, 12th with just a three-point lead over Tre Penne – whom they beat two days ago in their direct clash. For Galli’s men, the chance to bounce back comes against Cosmos, one of the form teams of the moment: four wins in a row after a draw in the derby with Juvenes-Dogana for the Gialloverdi, who have taken full advantage of a run of finely-balanced fixtures offered by the calendar at this stage. Should Muccioli’s side manage to confirm their form again tomorrow evening in Fiorentino, a place in the play-offs would be all but secured. Before them, it’s Virtus v Faetano. On paper, it is a match clearly tilted in favour of the Neroverdi, who are battling with La Fiorita and Domagnano for positions between fourth and sixth – with the Wolves set to face Domagnano in a direct showdown next week. Faetano badly need to get back to picking up points, having slipped to second from bottom and five points adrift of 12th place – the last position that guarantees access to the post-season. A similar situation for Cailungo v La Fiorita, which will be played at 21:45 in Dogana. The Rossoverdi, after their win over Tre Penne (4-3), suffered a heavy defeat against Domagnano, and the nine-point gap to San Giovanni risks becoming unbridgeable. Rounding off the Matchday 23 programme is the most attractive fixture – scheduled in Acquaviva tomorrow at 20:15. Fiorentino v Domagnano is a major test for the Giallorossi, who come into it on the back of four straight wins and who, in the reverse fixture, were narrowly beaten by their highly-rated opponents, who prevailed thanks to a 10-metre free-kick from Busignani two minutes from time. Watching on are Tre Fiori, who will serve their rest round and will certainly retain third place – though the margin over the chasing pack remains to be determined.
