Futsal: Pennarossa hit seven on debut

Three-point debut for Pennarossa, who defeat Domagnano on the Acquaviva court and join the group of sides who had already started on the right foot the night before – Murata, Faetano, Libertas and La Fiorita. The Giallorossi Wolves are breached for the first time on 24 minutes, when Busignani finds the top corner for 1-0. Three minutes later Ceccoli turns in front of goal to double the lead, and in the first 11 minutes of the second half the Biancorossi wave grows even stronger, bringing a flurry of goals from Protti (a powerful right-foot strike from distance that hits the post before going in), again Busignani (a rocket under the crossbar), Morini (a toe-poke through Muraccini’s legs) and Timpani (a simple tap-in from a Toccaceli assist). Domagnano have a burst of pride through Davide Dolcini, who capitalises on a sluggish build-up by Busignani to beat Protti from point-blank range. The same Dolcini strikes again a few minutes later with a perfectly executed corner routine. By then, however, Pennarossa had already further updated the score through Toccaceli, who did well to turn between two opponents and place the ball inside the far post. The Acquaviva Gym – tomorrow at 22:00 – will also host the final match of the round of the league: the derby between Fiorentino and Tre Fiori.
