Futsal: Juvenes-Dogana back, Faetano beaten after the break
After three defeats in a row, Juvenes-Dogana return to winning ways thanks to a 6-1 victory over Faetano in last night’s match, valid for the 24th matchday of the Campionato Sammarinese di futsal. On the Acquaviva court the game starts at a high tempo, with Levani’s side breaking the deadlock in the first minute: a powerful, pinpoint right-footed strike from Cavalli beats Giusti from the edge of the area. Corbelli’s Faetano, however, do not lose heart and in the 21st minute they level it up: El Attar presses Quaranta, who miscues; the ball falls to Michele Moroni who finishes with the toe to beat Cecchetti. The balance remains throughout the first half, with the Gialloblù even going close to taking the lead when El Attar hits the post.
The score stays 1-1 until the start of the second half when – in the 40th minute – Juvenes-Dogana edge back in front: Bologna receives with his back to goal, turns brilliantly and fires in a low shot that gives Giusti no chance. The goal energises Levani’s team, who soon double their lead: it is Bologna again, meeting an excellent ball from the flank by Celli and beating the onrushing Giusti with the outside of his foot. Faetano fail to find a reaction, and Juvenes-Dogana pull away in the latter part of the second half. On 50 minutes Borasco gets on the scoresheet with a tap-in, after Celli’s powerful left-footed effort is initially saved by Giusti. In the closing minutes the Dogana club strike twice more, both times through Celli in quick succession. In the 55th minute the winger does it all himself, skipping past El Attar and Lisi before finding the far corner superbly with his left foot. Just a minute later comes the sixth and final goal, with Celli pouncing on Beinat’s error in the build-up and beating Giusti again from distance.
The final act of the 24th futsal matchday will take place this evening at 21:45 at the Multieventi Sport Domus between Domagnano and Pennarossa.
