Futsal: Juvenes-Dogana comfortably see off Libertas in late fixture

One half of futsal is more than enough for Juvenes-Dogana to take care of business against Libertas and move back to within touching distance of Virtus, who remain one point ahead of the Biancorossoazzurri. The latter make it three wins on the bounce, this time in far more straightforward fashion than the previous two. Early on, Cecchetti is immediately called into action to deny Mazza. Shortly after, Gianni puts Juvenes-Dogana ahead, capitalising on a Libertas error right at the start of the build-up. Just a few minutes later, Levani’s number 19 bags a brace, riding a couple of challenges before beating Simone Stefanelli in a one-on-one. Juvenes-Dogana keep their foot on the accelerator, further updating the scoresheet before the quarter-hour through Paesini, Bologna and Muccioli. In the closing stages of the half, Cavalli, with a brace, stretches the gap even more. Two almost carbon-copy goals from the number 17, who strikes powerfully from the right flank on both occasions, finding the far bottom corner each time. After the break the scoreline remains unchanged, thanks also to three saves by Simone Stefanelli on Chezzi, effectively the only noteworthy actions of the entire second half. Libertas fail to build on their win from the previous round and, for now, come up short in their attempt to close in on Tre Penne.
