Futsal, league: in the late fixture Folgore hit Faetano for twelve

In the late fixture of the twelfth matchday of the Campionato Sammarinese di futsal, which also brings 2022 to a close, Folgore made no mistake. Max Spada’s team were ruthless, with the yellow-and-red avalanche sweeping aside Faetano in a heavy 12-0 win. Folgore thus record yet another victory, keeping them top of the table alongside Fiorentino, both with a perfect record. Four goals came in the first twenty minutes thanks to strikes from Pellegrini, Bernardi, Chezzi and Giardi. After the break Spada’s players did not let up and added another eight goals: in addition to own goals by El Attar and Tomassoni, Giardi, Pelliccioni and Alex Stefanelli also joined the rout, together with the ever-reliable Chezzi and Pellegrini (a brace each) and Massimiliano Bernardi (a hat-trick on the night, taking him to the incredible tally of 25 league goals this season). As mentioned, Folgore close out the year with maximum points and remain first on 33; Faetano stay on 10, suffering their fourth defeat in the last five games.
