Futsal: league leaders back in action tomorrow in Dogana

The leaders of the 2022-23 Campionato Sammarinese di futsal will be back on court tomorrow in Dogana. The final matchday of the first half of the season, affected by heavy snowfall that rendered the venues in Fiorentino, Acquaviva and Domagnano unplayable, will see four fixtures staged in Dogana – the only venue spared from significant snow accumulation. In addition to Virtus-San Giovanni and Tre Fiori-Cailungo, which will go ahead as scheduled this evening with kick-off at 20:15 and 21:45 respectively, Folgore and Fiorentino will also take to the court in Dogana – but tomorrow evening. Folgore face the Tre Penne test, kicking off at 20:15 with the aim of securing a thirteenth win in fourteen games and going top of the table, ahead of the later clash between Fiorentino and Juvenes-Dogana. In that one, Massimiliano Bernardi and his team-mates will be hoping for a favour from their cousins from Serravalle, bearing in mind that the league format in any case includes a mandatory post-season phase to decide the title and that, based on what has been seen so far, it is hard to imagine a final that does not feature Fiorentino and Folgore.
