Futsal, league: Virtus claim late fixture against Faetano

After their opening defeat to Murata, Virtus make the late fixture their own in Fiorentino on Matchday 2 of the Campionato Sammarinese di futsal, earning their first win of the season. The price is paid by Faetano, who remain bottom on zero points. A flying start from Luca Pollini’s Neroverdi, who broke the deadlock after three minutes through Matteo Morganti and doubled their lead on 6’ thanks to Denis Aruci. The response from the Gialloblu – coached by Davide Gualtieri – came on the quarter-hour mark with a goal from Giacomo Casali to pull one back, but towards the end of the half a quickfire brace from Giuliano Sensoli sent Virtus into the break 4-1 up. After the restart, the Acquaviva side kept their foot on the gas, adding three more goals: first from Thomas Paolini, then again from Sensoli (sealing his hat-trick), and finally Manuel Carlini, who put the seal on a comprehensive 7-1 win for the Neroverdi.
