Futsal: Pennarossa v La Fiorita moved to Multieventi, season debut for Cosmos

The San Marino futsal championship sees the first indoor match of the season. Pennarossa and La Fiorita will be the last to take to the court on the evening dedicated to Matchday 2. Kick-off at the new time of 22:00 for two sides who made a positive start to their respective campaigns and are now looking for further confirmation. The game will be played at the Multieventi. Cosmos, meanwhile, have yet to step onto the court for an official fixture, having had a bye last Thursday. Their opponents Tre Fiori narrowly lost to Tre Penne, coming close to a stunning comeback. Up for grabs, therefore, are the first points of the season for both on the Acquaviva artificial pitch, which after Tre Fiori v Cosmos will also host the clash between Faetano and Tre Penne. The latter are aiming for back-to-back wins but will be without Francesco Rossi, suspended for two games by the Sports Judge. As for Selva’s men, the defeat against San Giovanni calls for an immediate reaction.

In Dogana, Roberto Levani will once again be facing one of his former clubs. After La Fiorita, the Libertas coach now comes up against Juvenes-Dogana. Both the Granata and the Biancorossoazzurri lost on opening day and are therefore hungry for their first positive result. After them, it will be the turn of Fiorentino and Virtus to step onto the small artificial pitch at the Ezio Conti. Fiorentino, against Domagnano, also came close to a comeback, only to suffer their first defeat of the season. Virtus, on the other hand, had a relatively comfortable outing against Cailungo and are targeting a second straight win. Speaking of Cailungo, Venerucci’s side will have the task of trying to stop a flying Murata, who after putting eleven past Pennarossa in the Givova Supercoppa final also hit double figures against Folgore. Folgore will open the evening programme at the Domagnano sports ground – the same venue as Cailungo v Murata – when they face a San Giovanni side coming off a win over Faetano. Domagnano have a bye.
