Futsal: Pennarossa pull away but La Fiorita hit back. Everything to be decided on Tuesday

In contrast to the first one, the second semi-final first leg proved to be extremely evenly balanced. Neither Pennarossa nor La Fiorita, in short, managed to open up a gap, and the only factor that at the moment slightly tips the scales between Traviglia’s and Settembrini’s teams – who drew 2-2 yesterday – is their league position, which favours the side from Chiesanuova. They will, however, regret allowing themselves to be pegged back after going two goals up. Ceccoli struck on the quarter-hour, quickly followed by Verri (18’). Within five minutes Giuccioli halved the deficit and then, in the 22nd minute of the second half, Pellegrini restored parity, or better, threw everything back into the balance ahead of the second leg, which will be played next Tuesday, the day after Virtus-Murata.
