Futsal: Rampant Virtus in the late fixture and alone in third

The late kick-off of matchday 21 speaks unequivocally in favour of Virtus. Michelotti’s side (with the coach suspended) run riot against San Giovanni and end their shared position with La Fiorita, who slip to fourth place and hand the Neroverdi outright ownership of third spot. The match at the Multieventi is unlocked by Morganti after 6 minutes. He is quickly followed onto the scoresheet by Stacchini and Cevoli, and then by Bernardi, Di Maio, Pasqualini and Tamagnini. Morganti strikes again in the closing stages of the first half, immediately imitated by Di Maio. Finally, Tassitano makes it 10-0, the scoreline on which the two teams head into the interval. The second half opens with a Stolfi hat-trick; then Bernardi, Pazzaglia and Pasqualini all add multiple goals (a brace apiece), while Tassitano, Di Maio and Tamagnini also go on to complete their hat-tricks.
