Futsal: three teams on top, first win for Cailungo
Fiorentino, Folgore and Murata claim a third consecutive victory and remain at the top after Matchday 3 of the Campionato Sammarinese di futsal, which was played entirely last night.
The reigning champions Fiorentino ease past Libertas 5-1, condemning the Granata to a second defeat in a row. Michelotti’s side, however, fall behind early on to a goal from Francesco Rossi. The comeback is led by Danilo Busignani, who grabs the equaliser before Cevoli completes the turnaround. In the second half Busignani strikes twice more in the space of a few minutes (he is now on 7 league goals, joint top scorer with Murata’s Matteo Moretti) to put the game firmly in Fiorentino’s hands. In the 54th minute Giacobbi also gets on the scoresheet to wrap things up.
Seven goals and a clean sheet for Folgore, who sweep aside Cosmos in the Serravalle derby. Two quick-fire goals after just two minutes from Massimiliano Bernard and Elia Pasqualini make life easier for Zonzini’s men. Before the interval, Mirko Giardi and Alberto Volpinari also find the net. After the restart, the pattern does not change: the Giallorossoneri keep their foot on the accelerator and score again through Pasqualini, Juri Biordi and Alessandro Morri. For the Gialloverdi this is a second straight defeat after their opening win over Cailungo.
Big win as well for Murata, who sweep aside Faetano with a clear-cut 6-0. Former Gialloblu man Omar El Attar opens the scoring early on with his first goal in the black and white shirt, before Matteo Moretti doubles the advantage. In the second half, Nicola Albani and Thomas Felici also add their names to the scoresheet, along with two further goals from El Attar to complete his hat-trick. Cellarosi’s side celebrate, while for Gualtieri’s team this is a third consecutive defeat.
Also on maximum points – having already observed their rest round – are Virtus and Juvenes-Dogana, who defeated Domagnano and Tre Penne respectively.
In Dogana, Pollini’s Neroverdi take an immediate lead through Manuel Carlini and double it on 20 minutes thanks to Andrea Toccaceli. The Giallorossi refuse to give in and pull one back in added time through Santarini to stay in touch. Denis Aruci restores Virtus’s two-goal cushion, only for Kevin Vagnini to reply shortly after (49'). But it is Giuliano Sensoli – netting his fourth goal in three matches – who settles it with the final 4-1 scoreline. It is a second defeat for Fabio Gasperoni’s side after their opening win against San Giovanni.
Juvenes-Dogana come from behind to win a thrilling encounter with Tre Penne. Davide Ghiotti’s Biancazzurri go in front through Alessandro Benedettini, but on 15 minutes Alberto Bologna hits his first goal of the season to level. After the break Tre Penne regain the lead thanks to Jacopo Gamba, yet within a few minutes Roberto Levani’s men turn it around through William Cavalli and Nicolò Gianni. Late on, Simone Chezzi also finds the net to give Juvenes-Dogana a decisive cushion, although on 55 minutes they are reduced to ten men following the sending-off of Nicolò Gianni.
Second straight win for La Fiorita thanks to a clear 7-1 over Pennarossa. The first half is firmly Gialloblu-coloured, with goals from Jacopo Giuccioli, Giacomo Bernardi, Andrea Cappelli and Fabio Belloni sending them into the break 4-0 up. After the interval Gianni Galli’s side do not let up and score three more: Giuccioli (brace) and a double from Danny Gasperoni further inflate the scoreline, with Federico Rosa’s late strike nothing more than a consolation for Mattia Casadei’s team.
The first win of the season, meanwhile, goes to Cailungo, who come out on top against San Giovanni at the Multieventi. The Rossoneri start brilliantly and close the first half two goals to the good thanks to strikes from Michele Giacobbi and Jacopo Berardi. After the restart Matteo Venerucci’s side come to the fore and, inspired by a superb Thomas Vitillo – scorer of three goals – they turn the game around before Nicola Moroni adds the final seal late on to secure the first victory for the Rossoverdi.
