Futsal: Tre Fiori fall in the derby, first wins for Tre Penne and Faetano

The derby goes to Fiorentino, who sweep aside their Tre Fiori “cousins” 3-0 thanks to a brace from Cevoli and a strike from Busignani. Michelotti’s side maintain a perfect record (four wins from four), while Bugli’s team suffer their first defeat of the season. As a result, they are overtaken by Juvenes-Dogana, La Fiorita and Virtus, all winners against their respective opponents on the night. Gianni Galli’s team have to work hard to get past Domagnano, who take the lead midway through the first half through Davide Dolcini but are then pegged back after the break, when the goals come from first Bernardi and then Giuccioli. It’s a third win in a row for La Fiorita, just as it is for Virtus, who see off Cosmos with fewer worries, even though all three goals for the Neroverdi arrive in the second half of the contest. Carlini opens the scoring on 41 minutes, followed by Aruci and then, unfortunately for him, Giovanni Righi, the protagonist of an unlucky own goal. Juvenes-Dogana also raise their arms to the sky for the third consecutive time. Indeed, for Levani’s side, moving up to 9 points comes courtesy of a flawless run: three wins from three, the latest secured against a San Giovanni side able to get Berardi on the scoresheet in the closing stages (after the number 11 himself had missed a 10-metre free-kick at the end of the first half), but unable to stem the biancorossoazzurro wave, which crashes down with six goals: a Cavalli brace, plus efforts from Chezzi, Bologna and Mularoni, along with an own goal from Rossoneri goalkeeper Agostini. First win of the season for Tre Penne and Faetano, who get the better of Libertas and Cailungo respectively. The side from Città need just one goal – scored by Benedettini six minutes into the second half – to see off the Granata, who remain on zero points along with San Giovanni. There are more goals, however, in the meeting between Faetano and Cailungo. The Gialloblù go ahead after 7 minutes through Bacciocchi, only to be pegged back in the 25th minute by Sabatino. The 1-1 lasts just one turn of the second hand – the time it takes Della Valle to put Gualtieri’s team back in front. They then stretch their lead in the first 10 minutes of the second half through Casali and Beinat. Cailungo try to mount a comeback but, aside from Riera’s goal, are unable to spoil the happy evening for Faetano, who now join the sizeable group of teams on 3 points, a group that, in addition to Cailungo themselves, also includes Domagnano, Cosmos, Pennarossa and Tre Penne. This evening’s schedule features the big match between Murata and Folgore. Both sides, level on nine points, will be aiming not to leave Fiorentino all alone at the top of the table.
