The history of San Marino football in a multimedia work at the Titanus Museum
The San Marino Football Federation and Titanus Museum have signed a multi-year agreement which, in the coming weeks, will lead to the innovative installation of a multimedia, museum-style exhibit dedicated to the history of San Marino football.
The Titanus Museum (located in Contrada Santa Croce 20, right in the historic city centre) will soon offer the public an immersive and engaging narrative retracing all the key milestones in the development of football in the Republic of San Marino. From the very first steps, around a century ago, through to the present day and via the inevitable landmarks: the rise of Massimo Bonini, the European debuts of our clubs and National Team, the victory over Liechtenstein and the records set within and beyond our borders.
All of this will be accessible through an innovative, state-of-the-art installation, designed to engage and interest both local and international visitors through a sequence of images, photos, videos and multimedia content that showcases the century-long history of football in the Republic of San Marino. It will be an almost unmissable destination for fans and supporters of Sammarinese football, as well as a wonderful opportunity for the many tourists who have come into contact with our country also thanks to the international fixtures of its national team.
Last Monday, at the Casa del Calcio – headquarters of the FSGC – the Federation President Marco Tura and the President of the Titanus Museum Dennis Guerra signed the cooperation agreement that will ensure, for the coming years, a permanent installation dedicated to San Marino football. A project designed to indelibly preserve the key moments in our history.
