Last week of the year for the Grassroots Youth Sector, Under-12 autumn final on Sunday

The 2024 activities of the Grassroots Youth Sector are drawing to a close. Already yesterday afternoon, at San Marino Stadium, all the teams taking part in the San Marino Under-10 Championship gathered for an afternoon of on‑field challenges on the pitch where the National Team completed its UEFA Nations League campaign unbeaten and built part of its historic success. It was also an opportunity to look ahead to the new year and exchange Christmas greetings, including with families. The same spirit will be shared by all the boys and girls who on Saturday morning, at the Ezio Conti in Dogana, will take part in the last Under-8 get‑together of the year. In the afternoon comes the grand finale, with the conclusion of the Under-12 autumn programme. As has been the case in recent years, all the teams entered in the autumn tournament of the San Marino Championship for this age group will be involved, culminating in the final at 16:30. Apart from the two teams that have reached the decider, the others will play friendly matches on reduced‑size pitches laid out on the turf of San Marino Stadium, starting from 15:00. Afterwards, all the protagonists on the pitch and their families will be able to watch the all‑Serravalle Football Academy derby, which will decide the national apertura champion. The title will be contested between Folgore 1 and Cosmos 1, who swept aside the competition in the Blue Group and will meet again at the main venue of San Marino football with the aim of lifting the trophy into the sky above Serravalle. The match will be played over three periods, and the team that wins one more period than their opponents will be declared the winner. If the tally of periods is perfectly balanced, Folgore 1 will be crowned champions – in line with the relevant regulations, which indicate head‑to‑head results over the course of the season as the first criterion for breaking ties. On both previous occasions this season, Folgore 1 have come out on top.
