League: leaders Virtus in action on Sunday, three head‑to‑heads tomorrow

The matchday spread between the end of November and the beginning of December kicks off tomorrow at 15:00, the time slot designated to host four of the five fixtures scheduled for Saturday. It starts with a Tre Penne side buoyed by their Coppa Titano success but still looking for a turning point in the league. Berardi’s team will have to measure up in Acquaviva against a San Giovanni wounded by their midweek display, but able in the league to reconnect with the enthusiasm generated by their fine win over Cosmos. The Rossoneri’s underlying goal is to keep Tre Penne at arm’s length; a Tre Penne victory, on the other hand, would allow them to draw level. Speaking of Cosmos, beaten in the last league round and spared the exertions of the cup. The Gialloverdi’s mission is to resume their path with the best possible determination after it appeared to stall somewhat of late, given that prior to the defeat to San Giovanni they had recorded two draws. The summit remains within reach for Lepri’s men, who now face a direct showdown with a Folgore side level on points and also driven by the desire to make amends for the narrow midweek cup defeat. Domagnano recently saw a three‑match positive run come to an end, and the Wolves’ sole intention can only be to get straight back to putting points on the board, all the more so as they now face a Pennarossa coming off a heavy loss to Tre Fiori and a team that has never really taken off this season. Domagnano are also keen to widen the gap they currently hold over the Chiesanuova outfit. The 15:00 time slot also hosts the head‑to‑head between bottom sides Juvenes-Dogana and Cailungo, with the Biancorossoazzurri also having to contend with the energy spent in their cup efforts. Cailungo are still chasing their very first win; achieving it would allow the Rossoverdi to hand bottom spot to their opponents of the day – a scenario Juvenes-Dogana will obviously be determined to avoid at all costs. The only 18:00 kick-off sees La Fiorita – currently second in the single group and on a golden run of three straight wins, cup included – take on the San Marino Academy Under 22 side, with the aim of temporarily overtaking leaders Virtus and thus putting a little extra pressure on Bizzotto’s team ahead of their Sunday assignment. Bizzotto’s side come into it on an even brighter streak than their direct gialloblù rivals (five wins, including the one in the cup): they will be looking to draw on this reservoir of positive feelings as they take on Libertas, making their first appearance since the change in the dugout from Sperindio to Buda and seeking a league victory that has eluded them for five matches. Sunday’s league programme also offers an all‑gialloblù clash between Tre Fiori and Faetano, two sides both in good shape but with different ambitions as far as the table is concerned: the Fiorentino outfit are once again strongly believing in the title race, while Ricchiuti’s team are more focused on securing a solid mid‑table position. Just as Tre Fiori have begun to dream big, so too have Fiorentino, who sit one point ahead of their “cousins” and are eager to notch a third consecutive victory, against a Murata side back smiling after three straight defeats but currently mired in the mid‑table quagmire. All matches of Matchday 11 will be available live via streaming on the Titani.TV platform.
