League: Tre Penne held to a draw and caught at the top by Virtus

The big match of the sixth round of the Campionato Sammarinese 2026-27 between Tre Penne and Tre Fiori ends all square. Goalless draw between the two powerhouses, with the Biancoazzurri from Città – still league leaders – seeing their winning streak come to an end. Girolomoni’s side start better and after just five minutes go close to breaking the deadlock through a thunderous strike from Ben Kacem – in the XI in place of the unavailable Prandelli – but Andreani produces a sensational one-handed save. The game stays lively and both Ceccaroli (23’) and Benedettini (29’) are only centimetres away from giving their sides the lead. Tre Fiori are the better team in the first half and go close again through Bernardi (38’), who fires over. After the restart the Gialloblù keep pushing, again through Ben Kacem, but without reward. The match thus ends goalless, also thanks to a further decisive save from Andreani – among the best on the pitch this evening – who in the 88th minute denies a powerful long-range effort from Sami. It finishes 0-0 in Montecchio, the first draw of the season for Tre Fiori, who remain three points off the summit.

At the top alongside Tre Penne – while waiting for Folgore, just one point behind, to play on Sunday – are Virtus, who edge past Juvenes Dogana thanks to Badalassi. Early on it is Luca Cecchetti who looks dangerous, then on 20 minutes Colonna keeps out Badalassi’s attempt with his foot. The goal that decides the match arrives in the 63rd minute when Buonocunto delivers a perfect corner onto the head of the former Tre Penne marksman – his second goal of the campaign. Virtus almost double their lead in the 71st minute through Lisanti, but Bakalyar clears almost off the line. In the end, Badalassi’s poacher’s finish is enough for Virtus to overcome Juvenes Dogana and secure their fifth win in a row.

The winning streak also continues for Cosmos, who climb further up the table thanks to a 4-0 victory over San Marino Academy. It is Cremonini who opens the scoring, kicking off his outstanding evening in the 10th minute: Ulloa slaloms down the left and plays it across for his yellow-and-green team-mate, who shifts it onto his left foot and breaks the deadlock. Rossi’s side keep pressing in the 25th minute and it takes a great save from Amici to keep out Guidotti’s header, with the striker then incredibly failing to hit the target on the rebound. It matters little for the former Libertas forward, who in the 44th minute begins to find his range. On Cremonini’s pinpoint cross he rises well to head home for 2-0. The second half begins in the same way: only fifteen seconds have passed and once again it is the Cremonini–Guidotti partnership that works to perfection. Second assist of the night for Cremonini and a brace for Guidotti. Good things come in threes for Cosmos’ super duo, because in the 52nd minute they complete the poker. Another foray from Cremonini (third assist of the evening), who plays it across for the ever-alert Guidotti, perfectly positioned to complete his hat-trick and become the league’s new top scorer with six goals. The game is effectively over, but later Semprini (59’) and then Amici (75’) both excel with two fine saves. Cosmos run out 4-0 winners – their fourth consecutive success – and move up to fourth place in the table alongside Tre Fiori.

It finishes level with four goals in the entertaining draw between Pennarossa and San Giovanni. After 10 minutes the clash in Acquaviva is unlocked by a fine pass from Rushani for D’Orsi, who strikes it on the volley and scores a superb goal for San Giovanni. The equaliser comes just seconds later. A long-range effort from Marco Evaristi comes back off the post and the quickest to react is Guida, who makes it 1-1. The sending-off of Zanni in the 34th minute – probably for some insulting language – makes life difficult for San Giovanni, who then have to rely on their goalkeeper Casadei, heroically saving on 38 minutes from Abouzziane’s powerful strike. Despite being a man down, San Giovanni go back in front on 49 minutes: from a corner Rushani delivers his second assist of the evening, this time for Osmani, who heads home for 2-1. It seems job done for Antonioli and his players, but deep into added time a goal from Mema – set up by Guida – seals the final 2-2.
