Luigi Bizzotto confirmed as head coach of NAT San Marino

Luigi Bizzotto has been confirmed as Head Coach of NAT San Marino. The former Virtus manager will therefore continue at the helm of the representative team of the Titan, which has managed to grow and improve year after year, culminating in qualification for the final tournament of the UEFA Regions’ Cup 2025 – hosted for the first time in San Marino. Alongside Bizzotto, the technical staff consists of Mattia Rizzo (assistant coach), Roberto Penserini (technical assistant), Claudio Bertoni (goalkeeping coach), Annamaria Ferri (doctor), and Tiziano Giacobbi (physiotherapist). The only change is the appointment of Simone Bacciocchi as the new Team Manager.

In the coming weeks NAT San Marino will return to work to prepare for the Intermediate Round of the Regions’ Cup 2026/27. The Titani will be in Slovenia, making their debut on 15 October against hosts Ptuj, before facing Moldovan outfit Anenii Noi (18 October) and then concluding against Serbian Vojvodina – already met in San Marino in the 2025 final tournament – on 21 October.
