National Team: friendly with Andorra tomorrow at the Estadi Nacional

San Marino’s National Team is looking ahead to the friendly against Andorra, scheduled for tomorrow at the Estadi Nacional, kick-off at 18:00 (live on San Marino RTV and web radio on TITANI.TV). As previously announced, Filippo Berardi will not be part of the squad group – he returned to Italy yesterday morning to rejoin his club. The remaining twenty-five players called up by Roberto Cevoli for this double away trip will all be available to the Head Coach for tomorrow’s match. Unlike in the UEFA Nations League, FIFA international friendlies allow up to twenty-six players to be listed on the match sheet. At the press conference, the biancazzurri coach and Tommaso Benvenuti spoke to the media, with the latter a strong candidate for his first start after two substitute appearances against Liechtenstein and Gibraltar. “We know a tough match awaits us, because Andorra are a side of proven quality – even if we can consider them among the teams closest to us in terms of overall level. Despite the defeat in Gibraltar,” continued the full-back, who plays for Sassuolo’s Primavera, “the feeling is positive; we are aware that we have worked well and produced a good performance. The hope is to be able to repeat it tomorrow.” On the significant game time given to very young players in the National Team, especially since Roberto Cevoli took charge, he commented: “The new coaching staff has started a generational change that has allowed many players, including those of my age, to make their debut and even start. I think, overall, there are all the conditions to do well both tomorrow and in the future.” Coach Cevoli, 24 hours out from the match at the Estadi Nacional, looked ahead to the encounter: “Andorra are a team of real substance, in terms of both quality and quantity. For us there is no such thing as a less important game than another, and these friendlies too must be seen by everyone as an opportunity. In particular,” he added, “to give continuity to the work we are doing in training with the lads, and above all for them, as they must also see these matches as a chance to improve every aspect of their game at international level. It will be an opportunity,” he concluded, “for many young players to get minutes in their legs and gain experience in this type of fixture, for which they must be ready now and in the future.” These are the players called up by Roberto Cevoli for Andorra–San Marino:
