The National Team at “Il Torrente” in Dogana: a shirt for every 1st Grade pupil
The project aimed at nurturing a passion for football – and in particular for the San Marino National Team – among the fans and players of tomorrow is renewed once again. This morning, Head Coach Roberto Cevoli and midfielder Matteo Valli Casadei visited the “Il Torrente” primary school in Dogana, meeting girls and boys who have only recently taken their first steps into school life.
Each of them received a truly special gift: the San Marino National Team shirt, naturally in a size suited to the very young pupils. The event, which was originally scheduled for Tuesday 7 October, was preceded by the distribution to every child – and their families – of free tickets to attend San Marino–Cyprus, played two days ago.
Joining Cevoli and Valli Casadei were Andrea Zoppis (Supporter Liaison Officer) and Michele Raschi (Team Manager of the San Marino National Team). The San Marino National Team kit was a huge hit with the 1st Grade pupils at “Il Torrente” in Dogana and, as always, it will be gifted to all first-year students in every Primary School in the Republic of San Marino. The hope is that one day they will wear it on the pitch or in the stands at the Stadium, nurturing their passion and love for the world’s most beautiful sport, closely bound to their own roots.
