A new banner donated by the FSGC to Brigata Mai 1 Gioia

On the occasion of San Marino-Cyprus, the San Marino National Team’s last home fixture of the 2025 calendar year, a delegation from Brigata Mai 1 Gioia met with a representation of the Federal Council of the San Marino Football Federation. The surprise occasion was the presentation of a new banner for the supporters’ group that has long followed the Biancazzurri, both within the borders of the Republic and abroad.

In recent years in particular, Brigata Mai 1 Gioia has shown great pulling power and remarkable initiative, including through its relations with other supporters’ associations. The most recent edition of the UEFA Nations League – which to date represents the pinnacle of San Marino’s achievements on the international stage – was enriched by the strong travelling support of Biancazzurri fans in the stands at the Europa Point Stadium and the Rheinpark Stadion. These fans set successive new attendance records for San Marino’s away followings.

From mid-October 2025, therefore, a new banner will be on display at the San Marino Stadium and in every European ground where the Titans take to the pitch. Its style deliberately mirrors that of the previous one, now worn and faded, bearing witness to the thousands of kilometres travelled and the unconditional affection – impossible to quantify – of Brigata Mai 1 Gioia for the San Marino National Team. As a mark of undiminished esteem and deep gratitude, the San Marino Football Federation has gladly donated a new standard to a group of supporters who play a role of fundamental importance for football in our Republic.
