New FSGC Business Team event on the value of relationships

Alongside last Friday’s match played by the San Marino National Team in Bangladesh, a new appointment was also held with the FSGC-branded Business Team. On the afternoon of Friday 5 June, in the Sala Prestige at San Marino Outlet, a new workshop took place within the now well-established format curated by the San Marino Football Federation, entitled “The value of relationships: how sport creates connections between different cultures”.

Opening the event was Jakub Romaniuk, a professor of Polish origin and member of the Scientific Committee of the Centre for Research on Sport, Diplomacy and Innovation – Roma City Institute. His speech focused on sport viewed from a global cultural, economic and political perspective, presenting a range of data and particularly thought-provoking insights on how sport influences society and international dynamics.

He was followed by Antonio Stoppa – Head of Food & Beverage for the Grand Hotel San Marino group – who spoke about the world of hospitality, also sharing some anecdotes involving high-profile guests he has had the pleasure of welcoming over the course of his career.

The meeting concluded with a contribution from Matteo Saccone – Operation Manager at The Regent Hotel San Marino – who continued on the theme of hospitality, highlighting the hotel’s commitment to guaranteeing its guests the best possible service. He underlined how attention to detail and the quality of the experience offered can make the difference in the hotel sector.
