A new website for the FSGC, developed by San Marino-based Studio 99

The most attentive followers of the San Marino Football Federation’s online content will already have noticed: for a few weeks now, the portal fsgc.sm has had a new look – and not only in graphic terms, where in fact the much-appreciated design of the previous website has largely been retained. The main changes concern the performance of what is the FSGC’s first point of contact with the outside world, as well as the implementation of a series of up-to-date tools that enable San Marino’s football system to raise its vigilance and safety standards – especially in terms of Integrity and Safeguarding.

By drawing on the expertise of Studio 99, developer of the current fsgc.sm portal, the San Marino Football Federation has equipped itself with secure digital environments through which reports can be submitted regarding alleged or clear cases linked to match-fixing or breaches of child protection involving minors within the San Marino football system. Such reports can be submitted via a simple form on the website also in complete anonymity. These are essential conditions that have enabled the FSGC to access UEFA funds dedicated to the creation of tools that are now fundamental both for the prevention and the repression of such incidents.

The new website of the San Marino Football Federation offers much more besides, providing engaging innovations for users. Among them is a system for real-time updates of Campionato Sammarinese and Coppa Titano matches, capable of tracking every on-field event minute by minute and offering a complete and immediate overview of how each game unfolds. In addition, polls for the weekly awards for the best goals and best saves in the Campionato Sammarinese are now finally hosted on the digital platform itself – allowing better use of the data, as well as a much quicker and more intuitive experience of the content for interested fans.

Moreover, performance has improved significantly compared with the previous portal: loading times are extremely reduced, making access to content and services much smoother – even with a less-than-ideal connection. Furthermore, the management of individual (registered members) and collective (teams) profiles effectively allows the new website to be used as a CRM – a function clearly reserved to FSGC staff, but one that provides further qualitative added value to the tool now available.

Last but not least, the development of an optimised user experience for those who access the San Marino Football Federation website via smartphone. An analysis of traffic data conducted with Google Analytics highlighted that the majority of visits are made from a mobile device. To best respond to user preferences, the mobile version of the fsgc.sm portal guarantees intuitive navigation, quick access to information and ease of use even in dynamic contexts (for example, checking results, fixtures or documents during training sessions, matches and away trips).

In short, for a few weeks now – after an essential period of testing and inevitable fine-tuning – the FSGC has been equipped with a state-of-the-art, high-performance tool. Not to mention that the type of portal now in use – a fully-fledged web applicationallows for virtually any further change or improvement, now or in the future, without any limitations.
