Referees: ASA quartet appointed for Israel-Bulgaria U21, D’Adamo heads to Bosnia

A busy autumn lies ahead for San Marino’s FIFA match officials. Setting aside the friendly between Malta and Turkmenistan which – had the match not been cancelled after initially being scheduled for 10 October – would have involved Beltrano, Ercolani and Cristiano, the three of them – together with fourth official Andruccioli – have been appointed to this evening’s Israel-Bulgaria fixture (kick-off 18:00). The Under-21 international match will be played at the Gyirmóti Stadion in Györ (Hungary), on neutral ground. Daniele D’Adamo will be on the court from tomorrow. The international futsal referee is travelling today to Sarajevo, where Group 2 of the Women’s Futsal World Cup qualifiers will be held. D’Adamo has been appointed as first referee for Belarus-Bosnia and Herzegovina, the opening match of the group, and will then serve as third referee in Bosnia and Herzegovina-Norway on Thursday. All this comes after he took charge – together with Georgian official Bliadze – of the previous match between Belarus and Hungary. Refereeing appointments for the final matchday, scheduled for Saturday 19 October, are yet to be confirmed.
