Referees: Beltrano in Lissone for an introductory course on VAR refereeing

The San Marino FIFA international referee, Michele Beltrano, took part in the meeting dedicated to Serie A and Serie B VAR referees held in Lissone (MI) on 13–14 September. This was the first in a series of sessions on refereeing with VAR in which Beltrano will participate, with the aim of securing the possibility of obtaining the licence to officiate matches in UEFA competitions where the use of the technology is foreseen. In this respect, it is worth underlining that the initiative was agreed with UEFA and the AIA.
