Referees: Delvecchio in Portugal among the best of Beach Soccer

It marks yet another high-level international experience for Raffaele Delvecchio. The A.S.A. referee was among the main officials at the Euro Winners Challenge and Euro Winners Cup, competitions that bring together the very best of global beach soccer. The two tournaments were held on the beaches of Nazaré (Portugal) from 9 to 18 June. Delvecchio distinguished himself by officiating no fewer than 17 matches, involving both men's and women's teams, culminating yesterday with the final of the Women's Euro Winners Cup between Spain's Higicontrol Melilla and Poland's FC10 Ladies (the Iberian side claimed the title with a 3–1 victory). For Delvecchio, this was his first international final in a beach soccer tournament.
