Referees: four San Marino officials appointed in the Conference League Q1

The first leg between Penybont FC and FC Santa Coloma, narrowly won 0-1 by the Andorran club at the Cardiff City Stadium, also carried significant weight for San Marino’s sporting and refereeing community. The match, valid for the First Qualifying Round of the UEFA Conference League 2026-27, was in fact officiated by a quartet representing ASA. FIFA referee for the Republic of San Marino, Michele Beltrano, took charge of the game assisted by international assistant referees Gian Marco Ercolani and Ernesto Cristiano. Completing the team of San Marino match officials was Andrea Righi, serving as fourth official.
